Chef mark jensen's restaurant, middle fork kitchen bar (mfkb), offers a bold, new take on the traditional dining experience.
Inspired by the dynamics of the season, the context of the district, and the enthusiasm of his team, jensen combines ingredients, cuisines, and a appreciation for the craft for a fun and delicious result.

Along with an innovative dining experience, the restaurant space itself is equally unique.  With few walls and a highly visible open kitchen, jensen and the talented team at mfkb, have created a sense of transparency. See the flow, eat, drink, enjoy.

The restaurant’s name is a tip of the hat to the great elkhorn river, the middle fork to be exact, or the town branch, as we call it in lexington. This little stretch of water is what our beautiful town was originally founded on way back in 1775.

From chef jensen's  lauded mobile food galley "fork in the road" to this new brick & mortar endeavor on the banks of the middle fork also carries the feel of the apropos double entendre.
